Numbers
Cardinal Numbers are used to express the quantity of something.
0-10
- 0 - Zero
- 1 - One
- 2 - Two
- 3 - Three
- 4 - Four
- 5 - Five
- 6 - Six
- 7 - Seven
- 8 - Eight
- 9 - Nine
- 10 - Ten
- I have one cat.
- There are three people in the room.
- We need five apples to make an apple pie.
We use Cardinal Numbers when we talk about a general number of people, animals or things (to talk about how many of those things there are).
We usually place a Cardinal Number before a noun.
Cardinal Numbers are used when we need to talk about the quantity of things, people and animals. These numbers are usually placed before the noun.
