Introduction
Be going to gelecekten bahsetmek için kullanılan bir yapı olarak görev yapar.
Form
Olumlu
Be going to yapısının olumlu halde çekimi şöyledir:
Özne + to be + going to + fiil + …
- Olumlu yapısının kısaltılışı to be ile aynıdır: I’m – you’re – he’s…

Be going to yapısını gelecek hakkında konuşurken kullanıyoruz.
NOT: Resmi olmayan yazılarda going to yerine gonna yapısını kullanabiliriz.
Summary
Be going to yapısını çok istediğimiz amaçlarımızı ve gelecek planlarımızı söylemek için kullanırız:
- Olumlu: Özne + to be + going to + fiil + …
- Olumsuz: Özne + to be + not + going to + fiil + …
- Soru: To be + özne + going to + fiil + …?
Örnek:
— Olumlu: “I am going to go to work.”
— Negative: “I am not going togo to work, I am going to the shop.”
— Soru:“Are you going tovwork?”
