Unit 1.1
Greetings (Formal conversation)
Tom has just arrived at the language academy; however he has a problem: he cannot find the English classroom! He needs information and he thinks that the older man who is greeting him can help him find the classroom.
Tom: Hello, good morning sir. My name is Tom and I am new at the academy.
John: Hello, Tom, good morning. Pleased to meet you. My name is John and I am the headteacher of the academy. Are you needing help?
T: I cannot find the English classroom. Can you help me?
J: Of course I can, Tom. The English classroom is at the end of this corridor.
T: Thanks, sir.
J: It’s no problem and welcome to the academy.
T: Goodbye.
