Open TextBook adaptation
The term, adaptation, is commonly used to describe the process of making changes to an existing work.
Please fill out the following Adaptation form if you are an instructor and are planing the adaptation of an open textbook in a course from either the Books4Languages Open Textbook collection.

The term, adaptation, is commonly used to describe the process of making changes to an existing work. Though we can also replace “adapt” with revise, modify, alter, customize, or other synonym that describes the act of making a change.
Intellectual Property
To grow the commons of free knowledge and free culture, all users publishing Content are required to grant broad permissions to the general public to re-use their contributions freely, so long as that use is properly attributed and the same freedom to re-use is granted to any derivative works. In keeping with our goal of providing free information to the widest possible audience, we require that when necessary all submitted Content be licensed so that it is freely reusable by anyone who cares to access it:
