Exclamation mark
Introduction
Exclamation mark is the symbol that shows that a sentence is an exclamation.
Form
The exclamation mark is: !
Sometimes, more than one exclamation can be used to emphasize the message (!!!).
Example
- to express anger
- Don’t talk to me like that!
- I disagree!
- Don’t throw me in the lake!
- a strong command
- Just do it!
- Shut up!
- Come here at once!
Use
We use exclamation marks:
- to express anger in a sentence with negative connotations
- to give a strong command
