Determiners
I Determinanti modificano i sostantivi e forniscono una vasta gamma di informazioni. Quelli che indicano la quantità di qualcosa si chiamano Quantitative Determiners (determinanti quantificativi) o Quantifiers (quantificatori).

Most of the students in our university are from France.
Usiamo i Quantitative Determiners per indicare la quantità di qualcosa.
- all (of) (tutti o tutto, l’interà quantità o numero);
- none (of) (niente di, nulla o nessuno);
- enough (of) (quantità, qualità, o scopo che ha bisogno di necessità, richieste, o aspettative);
- most (of) (di più in quantità, scala, o grado, maggioranza);
- a lot (of) (un grande numero di quantità, scala o grado);
- a number of (più di due ma meno di molti).
Usiamo i determinanti per modificare sostantivi. I determinanti che indicano la quantità di qualcosa si chiamano Quantitative Determiners/Quantifiers.
I principali quantificatori sono: all (of), none (of), enough (of) e most (of).
Per esempio:
— “Most of my friends are rich.” = Mostra la quantità dell’oggetto.
— “All my troubles seem far away.” = Mostra la quantità dell’oggetto.
