To be used to è una struttura usata per parlare di abitudini e costumi a noi familiari.
Espressi in forma affermativa, il verbo conferma qualche abitutine del soggetto.
La forma affermativa di “to be used to” ha questa struttura:
subject + verb “to be” + past simple of the verb “to use” + “to”.

*Se troviamo un verbo dopo “used to”, terminerà in -ing.
- I have had long hair since I was a child so I am used to it now.
- He is used to washing the dishes.
- You are used to working in a big, modern city.
La struttura “To be used to” viene usata per parlare di cose o attività a cui qualcuno è abituato o solito.

La struttura “To be used to” in forma affermativa ha questa struttura:
subject + verb “to be” + past simple of the verb to use + “to” (e.g. I am used to…).
Per esempio:
— “I am used to having breakfast early in the morning.” = Il soggetto conferma di avere un’abitudine.
NOTA: se vi è un verbo dopo “used to”, lo troveremo gerundivato (verbo + -ing).
