Shall è un verbo modale usato nelle domande per chiedere istruzioni o per formulare richieste in modo gentile.
Formiamo domande con Shall usando questa struttura:
shall + subject + verb (per esempio “do“) + question mark (?).

Usiamo Shall quando facciamo una domanda o una richiesta in modo più gentile. Viene usato solo alla prima persona singolare e plurale per:
- fare un favore;
- chiedere consigli;
- chiedere istruzioni.
Usiamo il verbo modale Shall nelle domande per chiedere istruzioni o per formulare richieste in modo gentile.
Per esempio:
— “Shall I refill your drink?” = Il parlante si offre di riempire la bevanda della persona interessata.
— “Shall we go now?” = Il parlante suggerisce di andare via da quel posto.
— “I finished studying English, what shall I study now?” = Il parlante chiede un’istruzione.
