9 Future Continuous Tense for Prediction

The Future Continous Tense is used to talk about actions that will be in progress in the future. {see Future Continuous, B1 Level}

We use Future Continuous Tense for different purposes. One of them is predictions and guessing about future events.

  • I guess you will be missing Turkish cuisine more and more.
  • He will be coming here to calculate the length of the wall.
  • They will be cutting a lot of tree to make them smaller.

We use Future Perfect Continuous to make predictions and guess about future events.

The Future Continuous Tense refers to an unfinished action or event that will be in progress at a time later than now. One of the purposes of Future Continuous Tense is to make predictions about future events.

For example:
— “Doctors believe that you will be giving birth tomorrow at this hour.” = Doctors predict that the pregnant woman may give birth tomorrow.
